Since I haven't had much progress on this front in the last couple weeks, I thought I'd give you an update on what has been keeping me busy, and also let you know that I have 11 days in a row off from work starting 12/23, and I intend to refocus on this during that time.
Meanwhile, at the day job, we finally made a public announcement.
So, that's what's been consuming the vast majority of my energy since early summer. Pretty geeky stuff, but it pays the bills.
The bills mainly have to do with my main hobby and potential future career, which is to say we're trying to startup a farm. Doing so on recently acquired (less than 4 years ago) Santa Cruz County real estate, as we've been trying to do, is probably pure folly (expenses are just too high), so we've been warming up to the idea that perhaps this farm is just a practice run for a larger (but less expensive) farm in a more truly rural area at some point some years in the future.
But having a little land does come with some perks. This is Sammie and Goldie. They came home at the beginning of the month, and we've been training them about how to hike on a lead in preparation for future backcountry adventures.
Hopefully my next update will include something actually relevant to the netlabel!
