Bought new power supply and issue persists. I've contacted Peter. Thanks for your help.
Ended up with the Dunst. What an amazing module. So expressive!
Awesome, let us hear it some time!
there's a bit more back story to that sid. that was my second sid, commissioned direct from meng qi. it originally came in a black plastic box with his older style barres (kinda really light bamboo or something). i have a local woodworker family friend and had him build a custom case and barres that i installed. i just wanted to clarify as to say it is meng qi is mostly right but not quite entirely.
yep, i followed your thread on MW, but you're right, i should've mentioned it. the new barres are really lovely to touch. been meaning to post it for sale too, feel bad about it sitting in a box...
yall seen the MQ sidrolz?
my lordi'm am really stunned by how attractive this instrument is
materials / layout / dimensions
just looks immensly playablei love everything about it
His stuff just get better and better. Gorgeous, really
benefit of open tech like monome and CL
he acknowledges them as influences and peers + has taken his own instrument design to another level (honestly on par with their creations)
look at that woodwork!
i saw the MQ Sidrax and it was lovely. That this thing looks kind of klunky to my sensibilities. Way better than i could do I'm sure but looks rather large
So, I decided I would get all cuddly with my Plumbutter today and this came out:
Tape Echo was also involved. I am in love with this thing. Didn't know this was possible.
ooh, Meng Qi made a new thing? it looks beautiful.
Wow that looks amazing! Looks like he's selling a 1 off custom tetrax right now! Wishi had the cash
Can anyone tell me what the two components on the top of the Sprott are? I thought I knew what red was and forgot I'm colourblind The fireworks and smoke were nice though
Nevermind! Two 10Ohms did the trick!
Just posting this over from youtube. The new mr grassi seems to bring something new to the ifm modules seems like more of a complete system.
I just picked up a Denum (it sounds fantastic) but I am definitely getting a Mr Grassi to play it with - I've wanted a stand alone rungler for ages...one with touch plates and the Ieaksul aesthetic/design is a no brainer.
Nice! I had denum & sprott for a while, i thought they were both great. Looks like quite a powerful little system with the grassi on the end.. I love the mobenthey aesthetic too! Guy in the video has 4 denums on the go there!!! haha crazy
I even like the look of that mocante touch synth too. Not too many demos around though.
Mr. Grassi is a lot of fun!
I remember hearing about this years ago, but Peter made a blog post about the Shbobo Shtar:
I've not been playing much guitar/strings lately (other than some banjo!), but my Namasitar is one of my favorite Peter instruments ever. Super expressive.
Bumped into a new shorter sequel video on Peter by Synth builders today
