I do.

More than happy to add a page on the wiki/docs if somebody could suggest some content? I don’t own a teletype, nor am I particularly up on II-style I2C, so that part of things always is a little bit ‘behind the curve’.

It could also be that I’ll add a link in the editor to that page - if people are messing around with the firmware calibration, they might not realise they need to do something on their Teletype. But an issue on the GH repo with suitable content would be welcomed.

Just a comment that to use the 16n with teletype, you need to slide all sliders to 0, and type FB.CAL.MIN 1, FB.CAL.MIN 2 …16. Then slide them to their max limit and repeat with FB.CAL.MAX 1 … 16.

Can you run a loop? like

L 1 16 : FB.CAL.MIN I
L 1 16 : FB.CAL.MAX I

??

I don’t remember how i did it on mine now :frowning:

OK Teletype folks, will this do:

That’s kindof perfect! Thanks, it will help people a lot.

I wonder if the teletype couldn’t be updated with stock cal values so it nominally works from the get-go… like TXo and TXi do.

On another note, the midi switch on the bottom of the 16n is there to choose between TRS-A and TRS-B, right? Which position is which? I have the Berlin AtoV version, but I think it is mostly the same.

Left is Korg/Makenoise, which I think is type a? Meaning right is type b (for Novation/Old Arturia)

Left from looking at the face, or at the back of the board?

Should probably have a step 3 “Slide all the faders to the very top.”

Looking down on the board from above. Original 16n:

Can’t speak for the AtoV version, I’m afraid.

Hi!
What did people use for the top and bottom visible screws for their 16n? I am looking for a blind 2.5 m screw or hidden type screw in black. Cant seem to find any online right now.

Edit: never mind found some https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M2-M2-5-Black-Phillips-Cross-Countersunk-Head-Machine-Screws-Bolts-50-100-500-/332528658097

with countersunk panels, I just found 6mm M2.5 countersunk machine screws. Otherwise, 6mm M2.5 machine screws with panheads will do fine.

Hi for i2c and midi do we need to use stereo jacks or mono ? I got mono in my BOM but the PCB is stereo.

It needs to be stereo.

Edit: I just need to learn how to read. It says stereo on the link 🤷 all good lol
