So, this is crazy:
-
It’s got sixteen CV outs
(only 12 bit precision, so you might not use it for 1v/octave, but still great for modulation)
-
You can wirelessly control those outs through anything that speaks OSC.
Thus far, it sounds a lot like this thread.
-
Additionally, it takes input from up to seven Movesense sensors
-
These can be configured to straightforward voltages based on pitch/roll/yaw, or LFOs, or to function like a virtual drumstick. (see 1:54 or so in that video up there)
-
I think I read that it can also take input from MIDI over Bluetooth and send that out as CVs, but didn’t care enough to dig further on that.
Also worth mentioning, the sensors let developers write their own firmware to optimize for various tasks, and these guys seem to have done a really nice job with theirs.
But again, even if you skip the sensors, that still gives you a Lemur App to CV interface.
I mean, 16 outs = lots of potential. In 10HP.
Three days left on the Kickstarter.
(they’re 2k down, but I’d be shocked if they don’t make goal by the end)
