mO&C is only 8hp. i think its a lot of funtions x HP, its a essential and versatile module. Now i want a second mO&C with hemispheres suite
They are different enough from each other to justify having both.
I recently did 15ish minutes of a set with just the Morphagene and Nebulae. That experience is part of what inspired me to build this set up.

You are in luck! Newly announced intellijel compatible version - with better voltage ranges that can be configured through software:
Hope this hardware rev comes to the pulplogic version.
I’m still using a stock o_C with hemisphere but would like to go 1u at some point to bring this toolset to my lunchbox.

Here is a shot of my lunchbox in the field. I had an opportunity to take my niece and nephew (13 and 15 respectively) to the beach for the first time with my wife. We woke up at 3 am and drove so they could see the sunrise which I think was pretty rad for a first beach experience. Thus it was coldish and gave me some time to make a piece before the proper beach activities. Regardless of that aside this was my second fully mobile outing with it and it was rad.

I’m going travelling for a month and can’t decide how to structure this case. There’s a good chance this is the final form but I’m also contemplating shuffling around to drop the Mangroves and Sisters for my ER301. I’m new to the Teletype and want to explore the Just Friends relationship.

Subbing in the 301 would be way more of a distraction from learning TT + JF than it would enable it. That pairing can do a lot. Id say copy the text from the Just Type studies and TT ops to have on hand, then when you get back you can incorporate the 301 with all your new knowledge.

Thanks for the advice, I have tomorrow to decide. My contemplation is that I’m currently distracted by the Mangroves and Sisters. I was thinking that the 301 can facilitate some light effects and loop recording. Decisions.

I should mention that the TRS MIDI jack on the Palette case is just a pass through connector to a header on the PSU (meant for uMIDI 1U)… you could wire this to the i2c on the back of the ER-301, and then to your fader bank. Is untested, but should work.

In fairness, Intellijel has excellent gig bags available for the 7U and 4U cases (I have two of the 4U gig bags). It has been broadly hinted that something is forthcoming for the Palette cases also.

Niice, just pre-ordered mine from PC, got evertything ready for it when it arrives. Perfect size for travel. I can see why they didnt put a handle on it though, all the electronics are up there! anyhow im glad, wouldnt see the use of a handle on something this form factor.

It’s a Damaru 42/6u case. I believe they’re based in Bristol, England. I bought mine from elevatorsound. I’m very impressed with the build quality and its extremely lightweight. This one is 70mm deep and can be closed patched (however, I unpatch stackable to be on the safe side.)
