Good afternoon,

I did end up putting together this 4u 42hp system. It makes folk music and primitive rock music and I love it. Soon, I bet I can pull some sick free jazz out of it, too. Still learning how best to get Pam’s to become alive.

Lots more examples on my Instagram if you care to hear!

Thanks again,

David

Here is another from a couple of weeks ago with my 5u 52hp Pulp Logic case.

EDIT: Here is a screenshot of my modular grid, I swap stuff out pretty commonly. Grids and ansible are what I’m using for sequencing. The blanks on the bottom are actually ansible in a 3u to 1u adapter panel.

What’s in your case? What are you using for a controller?

Swapped out one Benjolin for a DelayNoMore 3 and I’m getting tons of great subtle noise from it:

Thanks did not know about these cases!

Total derail of the post…where is that lake? Id be more focussed on casting a jig in that tree! Looks like a great fishing spot!

It’s actually the Potomac River, there is great fishing upriver in the Brunswick and Harpers Ferry areas. Although the current moves so slow in that stretch it might as well be a lake. You get great noises from the water coming in against the tree I was next to and shore that I used for field recordings paired with my setup. My field recorder was actually hiding next to me during that photo.

Not used them myself, but always liked the look of them. Endorphines use them for their cases, but have slim aluminium sides for single and double rows, which look nice, and I’m pretty sure fit the stock Frap Tools PLUS cases.

Looks like a beautiful place to go! I think i have heard about the potomac river, how cold is the water?
Need to get more outdoors again!

That would make a great little utility case! Im always looking for mini cases

i just got mine, i love it - but they’re quite shallow. just make sure everything you have and everything you want will fit! cable management is fun in those things too. the material is super solid, makes the system feel very sturdy.

also the look is unbeatable, for me. i couldn’t be happier with it, even with its quirks.

guess i can share mine as well - it’s a work in progress and i’m brand new to the modular world, but i’m having a blast so far. lots of room to grow. i have a good idea of what’s next for me but i’m open to suggestions for how to fill out this case! [edit - i have 16hp left, 20 if i mount the row power sideways.]

:eyes: I think with that exact combo of gear you might enjoy and app that @rdfm is working on :eyes:

How many HP is left in the skiff? If you could fit it in, a Teletype would be an excellent addition to what you’ve already got!

i’ve got 16 left as it is, 20 if i mount the power supply sideways, which is going to require at least the left side of whatever module i add to be ~25mm deep or shallower.

as of now i want to mount the power sideways and squeeze the 4ms sts in there…

This is so wonderful.
