@Yann_Coppier I say let track order be part of the mastering process, just let your creativity flow!

I second @Test2. 18 19 20.

So be it! I’ll do it my way (nothing to be afraid of, really), and let’s see how things go. As to the format, basically each track has its own (from 16 bit to 32 bit-float, from 44.1 kHz to 48 kHz and from mono to stereo with all possible permutations) so I have decided to make a 24 bit/48 kHz version of the final master which can be reduced to whatever you like afterwards (just had to pick something, and it makes sense as a starting point for downwards conversions). Still, if some of you want to send me compatible versions directly out of the mix, you are welcome to do so. Otherwise it’ll be done properly, no worries. I can also make diverse exports in classic formats, just request what you want if you have particular needs.

Talk soon people!

All right people, so the mastering is basically finished now. I will review it with @n_ev first, and you’ll get a chance to be critical afterwards (in which case I will do an extra round for corrections). Anyway I thought you should know: it’s happening!

Can my track be credited to my proper name, Lee Azzarello?

Just going to plug Kunaki.com. @mzero has a python script that will convert a Triumph DDP file into a Kunaki ISO. I’ve found this approach marries flexibility and convenience. Kunaki will drop ship nearly everywhere in the world a nicely printed jewel case for $6 USD. The last four LCRPs were done this way and it’s easy peasy. Everyone seems happy with the setup.

Interesting. I can do a DDP if need be, no worries at all. I am using Wavelab Pro 9.5 for that, which is as precise and reliable as can be. But is it something we want?
Thanks for your input Jason!

I think we should go with something open source, I mean in that vein / direction

Kunaki provides several other options for uploading audio as well. This one just seemed to fit our workflow and provide the greatest creative freedom for us.

omg, this comp is amazing!

I’m fine with that. Actually I’d prefer it (even if we include physical merch in the form of cd’s etc)

how far to make that lines net label thing happen? (I’m fine with bandcamp or similar too)

not soon. and comps don’t fit the model.

I think this is a great idea.
