I’ve been noticing this more recently! Did you end up resolving it?

Nope, and it remains an issue with my Grid + Fates combo, too, so I don’t think it is an Ansible issue. I just unplug and replug until it works :frowning:

Yeah I think its a grid issue. Ive found the same method to be the only fix atm.

Are you specifically using an offworld-type power injector?

Im using the DIY sonoCircuit OFFWORL/SWITCH

So, I finally managed to solve this issue after trying with three different cables. However, the problem was that I was trying to power Grid from the USB output of my Konstant Lab StrongPWR module. I thought that would be OK, but apparently not. However, with a power bank it’s noiseless.

hi all been having the same noise issue when powering my grid via ansible in my palette case.
ordered the offworld pcb but thought while i wait i would take a crack at modding a cable from some usb/data cables that i have laying around.

from what i understand i connect the two red wires which is the power (right/ centre) discard the one on the far left and match up the rest of the wires with their matching colours?

might be some delicate work but Y not…

re to self: so, as my impatience has lead me to discover, this configuration didn’t work:/

soldered each coloured cluster to each other (3 black, 3 green, 3 white) - the 2 red wires
(external psu/ male USB - grid/female USB) and discarded the red wire from the other male USB that goes to ansible

grid is receiving power yet ansible isn’t corresponding.

what did i do wrong here? @tehn any suggestions…

re: to self x2 - the data cables (green/white) aren’t supposed to be connected on the male external psu USB…
