So with crow i’ll be able to integrate the norns with my eurorack ? that’s interesting. Might just sell some modules and preorder tommorow.

aren’t they always due? the difference being who pays them (included in price)

late edit: to clarify, my point was towards that it’s mostly the same if you buy monome directly and pay the taxes yourself or buy from EU retailer, EFN, and the taxes (+margin) are added to the price. but this is rather offtopic.

no (though there’s no reason there couldn’t be an alt-firmware for this.)

crow will have a high speed serial messaging system over USB— something that you’d use similar to how TT addresses outputs (but with much more capability). stay tuned for this one… i don’t want to derail too deeply. it’s a few months off, as i said.

you could absolutely use an external sound card, but it’s not supported in the standard config. it’s linux, so you can go modify the .jackdrc to target a different soundcard than the internal one. or if you’re smarter than me, set up mutliple sound cards (becuase linux)

i’m interested to see this in action! i wonder if we’ll be able to achieve TT functionality through norns/crow, just using a different language. here’s hoping that this isn’t the beginning of the end of TT development.
