This just gives the horrible sensation that when you’ll receive norns everything will stop and you’ll be back 3 days before you receive it, over and over again.

mostly what i like to do with that is to capture snapshots of incoming magnitude spectra (often from percussion or voice) and use them like oscillators, with different sources of phase (live input, white noise.)

Fascinating. Is this similar to the effect of the PO-35 SPEAK? I haven’t got one, but it seemed interesting.

great idea @artfwo - there’s a Muse at the electronic music studio down the road from me that I’m a member of. I haven’t used the Muse yet, but I since I can access one I’d be happy to help with a project like that.

I didn’t get an order in for the first two batches but i could probably get by on a RPi until I get a real one (maybe next batch).

current plan: we’ll start shipping on wednesday according to order receipt and will have the full first batch out by friday. i’m expecting a pretty small batch on the first day, however.

i’ve decided to ship thurs/friday so we can keep the tasks separated. it’s absurd how many different kinds of tasks are involved in making things.

also, just as a heads up. there’s not going to be a huge drop of how-to-program documentation— it’s a huge task. i’ll begin a weekly series of studies much like what happened with teletype, so it’ll be a gradual introduction to all of the (tons of) things norns can do. but of course you can just jump in and edit the existing scripts as well.
