update!

i thought i learned my lesson, about announcing ship dates. producing a eurorack module is a incredibly predictable endeavor. designing weird mechanical devices is hilariously less predictable.

the good news is that the prototype components after a few tuning rounds feel great. by tuning i mean change dimensions by 0.001" at a time. the mechanics underwent a substantial change after a sudden electronic redesign-- i’ve switched from magnetic detection back to optical.

so, mid june was mistakenly optimistic-- my aim is to perfect this device, and not redesign it again.

i’ll announce a ship date when i have component completion promises. in the meantime, i’ll be able to share developments soon. perhaps some details about the eurorack module and new applications.

Can’t wait!
Even though I’m not a big euro guy, I’m really looking forward to seeing what the interface will be, as the euro monome mappings are all really slick and creative.

Holy jezus, sweet lord that thing looks amazing!

More than perfect…

totally getting 4 of these to have a 4x4 grid of arc knobs… just to stare at while i eat breakfast!!! seriously.

Wow, that looks great. Struck by how much thinner it is compared to the previous version.

Looks lovely…when will you be able to share details of the associated eurorack module? Can you tell us when arc and module will be available?

these would be a perfect interface to digitalize Peter Blasser’s "nob"bing new incarnation of instruments
peter has crammed a lot of communicable information into a single Nob in the analog realm surely this could be done in max

I never had ideas for how I wold use the Arc before but I’m not anticipating its release

Wow, just wow!

The balance and “weight” between the top and bottom is gorgeous. As is the size and length of the (new?) LED cutouts.

This really looks awesome. When are we going to see it perform?
