Hi, I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction, I am trying to find info on how to use Arc as a midi controller with Logic Pro X, and if it is even possible.
Any help would be appreciated, I am new to the Arc since I inherited one.
Thank you!

check out “returns.maxpat” which is in the Max 7 monome package. it generates CC data that can be routed to any midi app.
Thank your very much for your reply, I assume I would need to install Max 7 and somehow link it to logic?

yes
just having max7 on a machine (even the demo) lets a user run various patches (.maxpat files)
it may change the way one conceptualizes 'making music
Okay, here’s a fun starting point. I took Rodrigo’s recommendation for using groove~:
EDIT: dropbox link removed, see github link.
-Friction hasn’t been implemented yet, so knob 1 just kind of sets a playback speed.
-Start/Length precision could be tweaked.
-You need to wiggle the Length knob after loading to get the start/end indicators to appear correctly (and playback to work properly).
