arc4live
simplified arc-as-four-knobs M4L patch featuring trimmers on modulation range
This project owes a huge debt of gratitude and code to Stretta’s ArcControlG1 patch, which is arguably more fully-featured. Inspiration also taken from Flec8’s Arc4 Mapper device, which let me believe I didn’t have to figure out Jitter to craft the Arc lighting.
One of the goals of this project was to make the device visually smaller, ditching beautiful features both devices listed above had that I simply don’t use. Another goal was to add control over the maximum and minimum amount of modulation depth achievable by the Arc so that, e.g. sending a chain’s gain knob over 0 dB doesn’t happen. This is essentially the only reason to use this device over the other two; I’m sharing in hopes that it will be useful.
Requirements
Arc, Max4Live
