I loved that damn game. So ambitious! The dungeon sequel was good too. Wish it had continued but then I probably wouldn’t have the patience to play it now. I used to watch the intro and sing along!

my brother-in-law played the intro for me when he still had an Atari 800 system and a telephone modem. I love the opening tune, it reminds me of ELO’s “Time” album. If we get real ambitious maybe we can record a version of Alternate Reality with other folks here the same way Lou Reed did with various artists on “Perfect Day” Various Artists | Feat. @chino just finished the first episode. I really enjoyed it - it was a nice way to remember that lines is ultimately a community of musicians, even though my main interaction with them is reading text on a screen.

Hey gang, I didn’t intend to go this long between shows. One of the reasons Audio Flare Gun has been on a hiatus is because I’ve been finishing up a grant-funded project at my day job…

My co-workers and I made an interactive map for patients in the Urology clinic at the hospital I where I work. It has QR codes and an LED light triggered by a proximity sensor. Thankfully I am building up PTO, and I have just requested some time off specifically to record another show. Thanks to @WilliamHazard for your encouragement. ETA for the next Audio Flare Gun is mid June.

Hey folks, it’s been awhile since I asked for songs, sounds, and static contributions for AUDIO FLARE GUN, but I think it’s time to make another episode-- whaddya say? First timers and repeat offenders (you know who you are) are all welcome to submit tracks for Episode Three, yet to be named, and scheduled to drop next month. I love to hear new melodies, maladies, and abnormalities. If the show hits on all cylinders, I can go into a trance, and slip into DJ mode at the same time. If you have questions, you can post them here or shoot me a message. Also feel free to check out previous episodes at audioflaregun.com or in this thread. Thanks for your patience in between shows… it takes awhile to build up PTO.
