This is a huge one I think. For a lot music it’s worth changing certain samples to monophonic as there’s nothing to gain from letting a bunch of kick drums ring out over each other.

A sound example might help people better understand what’s going on with your tunes.

But something I do with almost every Digitakt project is, once I have set down a groove, I give my ears a break for a couple minutes and then switch to the master levels page and turn everything down. I pick out the sort of main part of the song to turn up to the desired volume, and then fade up all the other tracks from silence until they all sound good together.

Beside other tips given in this thread, Make also sure gain staging is on point.
