Upbeat Chiptune music made using old Game Boys.
Tbh I’m lucky enough to not be hurting for money right now so if it comes down to buying mine or buying someone else’s… pay them instead.

Here’s mine, it’s completely free, no need to spend money:

Oddly enough, here’s a snippet from the description of the album on Bandcamp, which is ironic considering our current state.

Having worked over a month without a single day off from my primary occupation as a graphic designer, all of the days started blending together. This music was made as an escape and coping mechanism (something to help my mind pull focus), but ironically ends up being something well suited to listen to while working.

My whole catalog of music I have let people here with my journey starting around 1999 with a Yamaha rm1x and keeping no genera totally steady the whole way from video game inspired music to spacey disco to 80 erotic scifi to lofi ambient to synth grooves and back to modular ambient weirdness.

most everything is set to $0.00(with a single album just for this purpose is 1$ just to have the availability of downloading the whole discography) and am starting a donating all my musical income as a future endeavor since im only making music for the enjoyment in the end. Please send recs to donate to.

My label Frequency Domain is selling our whole catalogue of 12 releases at a 90% reduction (£4.30) this weekend and all money is being donated to the Trussell Trust who support UK food banks.

So if you fancy some good staying in music from the likes of Anthony Child, Ali Wade and Matt Whitehead, head over to https://frequencydomain.bandcamp.com/

I’m donating any sales from today to the Seattle Artist’s Relief Fund:

Copy and paste from my Instagram:
Normally all of my music is available for free but for a very limited time everything on my site is $10 and any money you spend on my music I will donate directly to the Seattle Artist’s Relief Fund set up by @ijeomaoluo. Some albums are just 2 songs! One is just a 20 minute long track of found audio stitched together into an inverse silent movie. 2 albums are extremely shitty lofi house that I constantly think about taking down. It’s a real grab bag in there, something for everyone! LINK IN BIO.

I am luckily not being seriously financially impacted by coronavirus, lots of privilege plus I don’t have the guts to try and make my living solely from music or art. So don’t buy my music for me, buy it for my courageous fellow musicians and artists whose livelihood we spiritually depend on and has been thoroughly devastated by this virus. If every one of my followers bought one album, we’d raise $4000 for folks keeping Seattle a relevant cultural hub rather than a technoid wasteland. Help someone pay rent and buy lunch so they can keep making this world a place worth living in. Breathe in this suffering and breathe out your love.

I don’t really have any new or specific releases to push, but I do have a reasonably extensive and growing (dirty old) back-catalog for my label, of sorts, and a propensity for one-offs and iteration, mostly behind a relatively modest paywall:

Most of the earlier material is rather noisy, (decidedly more) weirdly amateur, and roughly recorded, though the later material is notably better in this regard. A lot of the older 4track material will be subject to iteration/remastering (if not already completed) in the near-future, owing to new equipment and methods for accomplishing this (with most of the MD, stereo cassette, and VHS recorded material soon to follow). This project has had a history of transparency since its inception, and there’s little that was recorded under its banner which has not at one time or another been released in some fashion (and less still that was performed/improvised without being recorded). While it’s well past its heyday, I’m always exploring new avenues for Moonside to ply its course, though lately none so extensively as through my own solo efforts.

These efforts are amazing. I’m not sure the quarantine will be enough time to get through them all.

Especially when Bandcamp is buckling so badly. Ooof.

Everything on Loma Editions is pay what you want. And please feel free to download for free—my income is not dependent on these sales. Also, all these albums will remain free beyond today’s Bandcamp promotion—that is, until we release our first proper physical CD later this year.
