looks like we’ve all got some listening to do!
thanks everyone.

This thread is a fun idea. I’ll move my way through it as I work today. Thanks, all!

Here’s my contribution, ambient instrumental stuff performed live with a bunch of hardware synthesizers:

My latest record begins as an Explosions In The Sky post rock type thing, then slowly morphs into a spacey ambient thing. Which was really hard to classify on iTunes

Are the bandcamp players not loading for anyone else? I think we broke it :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Yeah. They’ll get over it, but for now it seems they’re overwhelmed.

Good for Bandcamp for doing this, all work has currently dried up. Some of my music:

Feels like I posted this ten times already on this forum but, let’s share it again after all :

This is my main solo project, I create a “full discography” link so no one has to go through the whole catalogue if they feel so inclined. It’s quite a rollercoaster today with all these amazing releases !

Not really my own album, but more a lines collaboration thing like LCRP:

here is my Album:

released in January.
and here is some earlier works

If you can afford nothing today, that cool, just enter zero in pay field and download.
If you have money great throw me a dollar or something.
I like downloads more than I like money.
If all else fail, music is a life blood.

I have a new tape out on Histamine Tapes. You can order it on Bandcamp via the label (link below). Digital copies are pay what you want.

Big thanks to Nick at the label for all the work that went into producing these tapes. He hand assembles/makes all the artwork (each copy is unique) and dubs all the tapes himself. Nick’s approach is eco-friendly in that all of his releases are dubbed on previously used cassettes.

Album description: “It Could All Be Different” was inspired by a trip I took with my family to Florida in the fall of 2018. During the week vacation, I used a field recorder to document various experiences including the day we spent at a well known theme park. Once back home, I began constructing the record utilizing soft and modular synths and additional field recordings. At times absurd and playful, the music represents the various emotions I felt while spending time with my family and revisiting places I hadn’t been to since I was a child.

fm patch into some pyo code and some cecilia effects

Here is the last full thing I put up on my Bandcamp:

A small release exploring a stoppage. Frozen moments, points of space, gaps, breaks in journeys. Fluctuating suspense and expectation. Built from and inspired by field recordings captured while waiting for things.

Hope you all enjoy, thank you for listening!

I’ll be donating 100% of any sales on bandcamp today to various organizations that are helping those in the local arts community who are negatively impacted economically.

I released two albums of ambient synth-focused music in 2018 under the name midcentury modular–arps and drones. While cassettes are no longer available, you can still purchase digital copies:

In 2019, I self-released a record of guitar-focused ambient music under the name golden chorale. a handful of midnight cassettes and 18x24 posters are available…100% of proceeds of these physical goods will go to the visual artist, Sam Leidig Higgins. You can also find his music, which ranges from footwork to ambient to indie rock on his bandcamp.

Also, I made this buymusic.club list (which is basically a list of bandcamp links), collecting all cassette releases the community shared in 2019 if anyone wants to peruse that: https://buymusic.club/list/john-mitchell-llllllll-2019-cassette-releases-pt-2
