I’m looking to record some electric bass.
I do not have a bass amp and plan to go directly into my Scarlett interface.
Before I start exploring, does anyone have any recommendations for software amp modelers / a good starting point?
I like the Softube bass amp room and Brainworx bassdude.
The GK Amplification 2 LE is pay what you want so might be a good place to start.
I’ve also just downloaded a trial of the Kazrog Thermionik suite, includes models of an Ampeg SVT and a Fender bassman.
