netnewswire might be worth a look if you want a standalone RSS app for mac/ios.

It got bought up some time ago, but it’s now back in the hands of the original developer and is free and open source.

I use a combination of… Reeder on desktop, something I can’t remember on Android, and Feedbin primarily as a sync service.

An old friend has fire up aboutfeeds.com to act as a document to point people at as an explainer for feeds.

I’ve been on Tiny Tiny RSS since Inoreader turned down free users. The web-interface is clear.

I used to run everything through the News app on Nextcloud. But it keeps breaking, so I switched back to just having an RSS reader on my phone.
Right now I am using Feeder, which is ok, but does not overly impress me.
Tried Flym as well, which is a lot nicer, but which, weirly, does not let me add feed via URL copy/paste and had issues with certain feeds.
Linux has a lot of desktop feed readers that look interesting, but I haven’t really tried one.

using newsflash on linux— originally i was looking for a lightweight website to do this job, and then realized i was falling into the trap of treating a web browser like an OS.
