@Dewb - I’m 90% in to perform. I have a slightly wacky idea of using a 16mm film projector I recently acquired, but I need to test if the basic premise works tonight I’ll let you know for sure tomorrow.

Bit of an off-topic question, but this seems like a group of people who may know: is there a makerspace in Boston/Cambridge with SMT soldering equipment? I’ve got some DIY projects where I’d prefer to use proper equipment if I can get access to it.
Artisan’s Asylum and Cambridge Hackspace (both technically in Somerville lol) would be my suggestions of where to check. I don’t know off the top of my head yes or no though.
Yep, the Asylum is equipped for a few different SMT processes, with good irons, a microscope, a rework station, and even one of those converted toaster ovens. Probably bring your own tweezers though.
