Had mine less than a week. Initial great fun is giving way to how do I get beyond all these chaotic wet fart noises. looking forward to putting some external audio through it and, as others have struggled with, - understanding the pattern record. The manual isn’t very thorough. I think its a pity the feedback control couldn’t have come up top as a fader as well. One of those slightly esoteric pieces of gear where there’s a bit of a learning curve. Yes … inscrutable…

Keep at it. I had the same thing but I’ve been using it a lot recently and getting some real flexibility from it. Everything from the nonsense feedback to glitchy drones and wobbly basslines.

Reviving this topic to say that triggering VCAs in my modular with the SoftPop is a whole barrel of fun!

Curious - which output from SoftPop do you use for that? The raw square outs from the two oscillators?

Kind of. I’m playing around with routing different patch points through the A/B/C outputs, mostly square waves from the oscs and the track and hold output. Lots of fun :slight_smile:
