I‘ve just released an Acid music album, made with two Cyclone Analogic TT-303s and a TT-606, sent through a Klangbau Köln Tube amplifier and spring reverb, plus a variety of Audio Damage AUv3 Plugins. I found that the modern, clean sound of those specific 303 clones, was great for this kind of post processing. My goal was to make mostly danceable Acid with a very crunchy, dirty sound, like in a trashy basement club. So expect a good amount of saturation

Listen to the album:

It’s also available on tape in a limited edition, of course:

The first half of tracks are new, while the second half are complete remasters of some of my YouTube acid jams. A few viewers had asked for those tracks on tape, which is why I started this project a while ago and finally finished it now :slightly_smiling_face: It was a fun ride in a new genre for me and I look forward to explore Acid further after this.

P.S. I also set up my new YouTube Merch Store, where you can get pixel art designs on shirts and hoodies to express your “303 Love”

YES! Can’t wait to receive the tape, been collecting acid on cassette from bandcamp for the past couple of years - it’s the best medium for the sound imo.

i’ve been flirting with what i feel is off-acid for a while now. some can be found on this ingrown release that’s been shared a while back but seemed topical.

Well done mate, picked up the digital album, this is great. I love how the tracks swing!

Paper Songs, my second release, is out for preorder at Wow and Flutter Records. Huge thanks to Greg at W&F for supporting me :black_heart:

Today, as many of you know, is an excellent day to preorder it as Bandcamp has a no fees day.

Some copies of my previous Ghost Piano, part 1 cassettes are also still available for you to enjoy.

Hi all! I have a new tape coming out tomorrow (Friday, 5/15/20) on Bad Cake Records. The music was somewhat inspired by Ingmar Bergman’s “The Seventh Seal” (which is eerily reminiscent of the situation we are finding ourselves in as of late). It was made utilizing a small(ish) eurorack modular set up. Limited to 15 copies. You can check out the track “Death’s Dance” and purchase cassette copies via the link below.

My Broken20 label has a new release from Tengui, with remixes from Datassette and me, amongst other things

If anyone would like d/l codes for the digital, let me know and i’ll post some here

EDIT: hmm, embeds didn’t work the way i expected and posting the link just embedded the Big Art version. Sorry, ruins the flow of the thread a bit.

The Neologist summer batch is out today! It includes a new project I am involved with called Visions of Emptiness that incorporates elements of dark ambient, drone, and experimental metal.

Hello everyone!
I’m pleased and honored to announce that I have a new tape out on Falt, one of my favorite adventurous tape labels.

It’s a bunch of works made with/for tape on side A and a few other compositions on the flipside made over the last few years.

This release includes: JRF contact mics, field recordings, Sony TCM 400 & 900 cassette recorders, hand made cassette tape loops, pedals, Borderlands Granular, bells, Koma Electronic Field Kit, electromagnetic pickups, objects, windowpane, typhoon.

It’s an edition of 30, and it dropped a couple of days ago, and I’m humbled to report that there are three copies left, but downloads are free/pay what you want if you can’t score a physical copy.

I’ve found myself moving further and further away from capital-A ambient and feel like I’m finding something closer to - cliché alert- my own voice on this one. Unlike most of my other releases, I’m really happy with this one too, which is rare. Perhaps some of you can relate?
I don’t mind some earlier works, but upon reflection most of them feel like a practice run, or like I was gingerly moving my hands around in the dark, trying to find an idiom. I try not to shudder too much when I revisit earlier work. “The artist is their own worst critic” and all that…anyways. Enjoy!

I made a modern gospel beat tape during an artist residency off the coast in Longview Washington last year. It was so fun being in the middle of nowhere with a vhs player and a turntable for samples.
It’s a rad little label that put it out out of San Fran, featuring a bunch of awesome artists such as @kin.sventa and @edison. I’m honored to be included with these people’s tunes. :black_heart:

Hope you guys enjoy it!
