live recording via the norns interface:
to change between buffer segments, enter the local layer controls (press K3) and hold K1 – while holding K1, E1 will now allow you to switch focus between the buffer segments. after releasing K1, you can hold K2 and press K3 to toggle recording into the now-in-focus segment.
via grid’s bottom row (rec L1, L2, and L3):
only one rec key is illuminated at a time, which denotes that the focus is on that segment of the live buffer (cheat codes has one live record head, which can travel across three segments of live audio). to change focus to another segment, tap its corresponding rec key. if you tap the rec key for an already-in-focus segment, recording will arm/enable.
