Thanks, I was adapting the random output and automation to a 64 grid and thought I had broken something. Works like a charm now, you’re the best!

Hi All,

I’m having a few issues with Control. Looking for a little help if possible.

  1. I get the error - “control” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.
  2. Having an issue with Midi Mapping with the M4L control device.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

This little tutorial might help you with your first issue.

thanks. Worked a charm. I also managed to work out how to get midi mapping working too.

Great stuff.

Just downloaded this app yesterday looking to control some simple vst effects in my new live set. a page of faders is working a treat, but I’m unable to use a lot of the functions as I’m on a 64gs.

I don’t currently have a max licence, any chance of someone porting this to 64 as the standalone app?

Thanks!

@Simeon been planning to do this for a long time but never got to it. I’ll probably start working on 64 grid support in January as I’m buried in work right now. If somebody else wants to give it a go … the max patch is over at the github repository

Anyone using this with older grids without varibright? Care to share opinions on this?

Yep use it often with my grayscale128… autofocus is sweet too, I can switch between @elquinto suite and sl sequencer easy peasy

Has anyone managed to port this for 64 yet? Would love to see or hear the results!

Could it be that the Github file is damaged? When I download it my macbook shows that the file is damaged/corrupted.

@kza perhaps this might help:

will look into 64 support soon!

hello
control is great!
I have it running in Ableton Live as a m4l.amxd on a midi track - all good.
I’m also trying to send Meadowphysics to Ableton - and therefore attempting to ‘auto focus’ my 128 between MP and Control.
Is this possible?
so far when I switch to back Control, MP looses the 128.
Any help / suggestions would be great.
thx B

try using this M4L version of MP:

Just discovered this - magic!
Wondering if the M4L version get the pages / keyboard / automation upgrades the standalone app has?

@drxcm having multiple pages in one track is not possible due to M4L restrictions in regard to MIDI-out configuration (it’s impossible to set the channel from inside M4L). You could use multiple instances of the M4L device and use autofocus to switch between them (you would need an extra controller).

Automation works in the same way as it does in the standalone, there’s just 1 page (per track).

Look for ‘Notes’ in this package to play the keys on your grid:
