New version in top post. Added automation per page, added row interval to keyboard. @raws the faders are faster now.

I also made a standalone app (OSX only). You can download it here.

when i try to download the standalone app, my mac keeps making me throw away the file saying its corrupt. wondering if this is just my machine or something wrong with the file?

Here as well. It unzips to a 90 MB file. OS says

““control” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.”

Strange, no error on my MBP. I simply compressed the app and uploaded the zip file to my server. Perhaps it has something to do with apple’s security preferences. You could try setting the security preferences to allow apps downloaded from ‘anywhere’ (preferences pane - security - general). Let me know if this works.

I’ll probably upload a new version somewhere in the next hours which includes mono-brightness support …

That kind of error generally indicates that a file did not get completely uploaded and is therefore truncated on the server.

yeah … i saw the upload finish without a hiccup though … just googled the error message and found this

@ithkaa,
I’m not going to worry about it. There’s only so much attention to detail I should concern myself with!:smile:

put everything on github

Would it be possible to add the interval functionality to Notes.amxd? This is my dream app.

@ithkaa,
Hi @ithkaa. I have found a bug in Notes-2 that I am having an issue with. When I have multiple instances running, and I record a button pattern, all instances then play that pattern. Without recording a pattern they run independently with no interference of each other.

@jasper_ryder I’m having the weirdest problem with automation and serialosc in M4L. serialosc does not output a 0 when the device is out of focus, same behaviour when either seq~ or mtr is active. Does anybody know what’s going on here? I’ve put in a workaround for now by getting track/device ids and comparing them to the active track but it’s not an ideal solution. Anyway, you can find all reviewed M4L controls on github.

@objectgroup I added the interval option to notes.

@ithkaa,
Sounds like a bug in M4L perhaps. I’ll see if I can break the new version.:grin:

One other bug I’ve encountered in notes, which I wasn’t even going to bring up, but I will so it is out there is: If I hit the record pattern button, then the random button, then activate the pattern (so just creating a short pattern from the random option) Notes crashes/freezes and I have to delete and reload a new instance.

So I know not to try that if I’m playing out!

@jasper_ryder trying to get the same error but seems to be running ok over here. In that particular case it did run out of polyphony though. fixed it in new version.

@ithkaa,
I’ll see if it happens at all tonight. Does the interval adjustment change the steps between notes?
