Marc, I’ve just uploaded another version panned left, if you care to replace the stereo version. I found that taking just the left side of the stereo version leaves even more space, as opposed to combining stereo channels and panning both hard left. Probably would have done things differently had I actually conceived this in mono, if we’re heading for some sort of Zaireeka-like experiment. But I will trust the plan.

Ha! Got it. Could you reshare the link here?

@JochenEdmund I think I sorted it out. I deleted the stereo one and dropped in the new one.

Yep, I edited the post above to include the new version and removed the tags from the previous one. So if you search Soundcloud now, you should find only the left channel version. Sorry for the trouble!

Thanks Marc - appreciated. :relaxed:

I forgot to share my track in here.

Bastl Kastledrum doing a little shuffle beat and a PO-14 playing a dubby bassline. It’s about 65 BPM (it’s hard to know exactly with the Kastledrum in charge but that’s where it landed when I tapped it out). Not fully panned L because I didn’t have the time to do it. I will knock that out and replace the file when I have a free moment.

No problem. Thanks for having participated.

Your “Time No Radar on Emit” is a phat & relaxing track.

(However, the click that appears sometimes at the beginning of the ethereal sample drives me bonkers.)

Kudos!

Thanks! And thanks for pointing out about the click. I think it’s beyond my production capabilities to clip it more than I have but it just occurred to me that I may be able to loop a different segment of that industrial drone that is a little cleaner.

You are so welcome … on both counts. I love the piece. Maybe do a volume fade/cross-fade on the very beginning of the loop, then merge the soundbites, and then replace all of the instances of your/that loop to make them all the same after the volume fade is completed.

Great work!

I’ll try that! Sometime soonish.

My upload last week had a dropout of 125 ms which really fucked the flow up. @mzero pointed this out, so here’s my second shot. Unfortunately, I had a computer crash and the original file was lost. This was what I came up with using what remained. It’s got a little glitch artifact in there now, but didn’t Leonard Cohen sing about how glitching audio is how the light gets in? Or was it out? I forget the details.

Hi, Ryan. Thanks. I’ve added this track to the playlist for the 0472 project, and removed the previous version.

BPM: 108

I’ve been meaning to post here all week. What’s happened to time?

This track uses two instances of the Arturia CZ-V VST, each being fed notes, with different rhythms, by the HoRNet HATEFISh Rhygenerator.

The CZs are modified by various effects and gates to create a distorted industrial feel.

I would have used my CZ-1000 to create this track but due to time constraints had to opt to do this all in the box.

I’ve since uploaded the stereo version of the track at (wasabicube – third-CZ-stereo-disquiet0472).

You’re a legend. By the way, I got the AFX book and it’s great. I know I’m late to the party, but you’ve made something to be proud of.

Thanks for that. Much appreciated.

I dig this track. Highly agressive and inspiring for a stereo mix (which I won’t listen to – yet, because I might add to this mono version.).

beautiful, really nice

Nice track! How do I download it?
