Thanks a lot, Chris, I’m very pleased you like my addition and the guitar sound. I also agree that there’s plenty of room for someone to add a third part, which I hope we’ll get to hear next week.

I love where you took the viola-tron! I had kept it sparse and not too dynamic, so your warm layered synth building up was a perfect pair. Like lying under 10 blankets (it’s cold here these days, so that’s where my mind ends up going…) Thanks for the collaboration

Breaching the completion time limit a little here, as I had some big deadlines over the weekend, but I really wanted to participate in my first collaborative Junto so here we are…

I took @ray_cobley 's brilliant Pure Data rhythm track (which I must say sounded astonishingly like acoustic objects in an acoustic space to me, nice work), and added a Pd patch of my own of a slowly rising and falling drone. I tried to balance the levels quite carefully, which is a bit harder with hard-panned audio, but I’m pleased with the results.

In the spirit of collaboration (and to make the back-and-forth file process a bit easier), I’ve decided to try grappling with Soundcloud again, we’ll see how that goes.

@Zax Thank you for adding a pedal steel guitar. It’s such a nice sound. I especially like the pitch bends.

What a great run. Thanks, everyone. I’m pretty sure the playlist is now up to date, but if your track or tracks go missing, lemme know.

Hey @Xylr this is awesome! You definately brought out the “latent banger-ness” (lol, I can’t stop saying that phrase today too), I thought there was some of that in there for sure. I feel like bringing out the latent banger-ness in all the things is good life goal :grinning: . Crazy drum sounds! The granular stuff and distortion sound cool. Obnoxious in good way, they don’t give any F’s.

Hi. Would anyone have the time to go through the list up above and sort out which if any solo tracks haven’t become duets as of this project? Thanks.

Wow, 33 duets! Great work! This is quite a fun diverse collection here too.

The list I made is up to date with respect to tracks listed in the previous thread when this week’s project began and duets posted to this thread to date. It also included a few solo tracks that were not in last week’s thread. This means it may be missing some solo tracks only posted to SoundCloud last week, and some duets only posted to SoundCloud this week.

Excellent. Thanks for that.

@mattmadd - sorry if I’m missing something but can’t see a download link for your piece - ?

Just a reminder to please set your tracks from this project for download, so folks in the next project (today) can employ them. Thanks.

Oh, and I believe these five are the only non-SoundCloud tracks from this week. If there are additional ones, please let me know. Thanks.

I really like what you’ve done with the sound here. I agree with you that the timbre’s are matched very nicely.
Its great to hear these electronic sounds gel with the viola
