If you sell some its ok.

It’s so hard to part with a module though, at least for me. I’m more inclined to sell my Sub 37 CV or my Sirin but those are even difficult to sell, even though I have pretty much completely shifted over to Modular.

im pretty sure if i got one of these id keep it standalone like my current zoia. Thats a hell of a lot of real estate to give up.

This is a utility killer.

Ok, just saw this video. I sold my Zoia because I didn’t like how it felt separate from my Eurorack but now this fully is awesome.

I was about to purchase a Zoia. I wouldn’t be looking to incorporate this into a modular. now it’s a question of which one to get. Both have the Midi. More CVs, and a much smaller profile seems a plus to me.

omgomgomg this is a dream come true. I loooooove my Zoia and this is the one thing that will make it ascend to actual godhood

I cannot wait for more info on this. I actually adore the idea of having it be outside of my rack yet interact so fluidly with everything. This has gone to the top of my list of “most wanted’s”

Are there any listings with some more actionable info of what we’re looking at with this new version?

Glad I waited to buy a Zoia, definitely grabbing one of these

Was seriously thinking about getting a zoia also for a modular companion. Utility killer was my first thought too.

I wonder how much it’ll be with the case - I think stand-alone is definitely the way to go here, although I wish the jacks weren’t on the bottom.

I agree 100% with having it outside of the rack. That’s going to be my play. Thanks there’s so much utility both in and out of the rack and leaves more space for units that don’t have any free floating options. Plus, CV foot pedal is such an amazingly fun option!

To me, “utility killer” would have been true if there was some knobs.

I really hope it’s cross platform. I’m not getting it and I would be disappointed to be segregated from all the new adopters in the eurorack world.

This and Pulsar-23…
…and now I can set my 2020 goals!

Sample module! (And no other “real changes”)

No “real changes” is great for cost. It’s been revealed as “The Zoia in your Modular.” So, hopefully the similarities between the two keeps the cost down since there isn’t a ton of new stuff to develop.

The sample module news isn’t new (I posted upthread about it) and was announced initially for the Zoia pedal. The Engadget article seems to suggest that this is (at least for now) a difference added to the Eurorack version, but that isn’t the case. I imagine they’ll both get the same firmware update that adds sampling simultaneously.

I hope this hints at an expedient release date for this. I am ludicrously excited for it.

Just thought about putting this (34hp) and a MSW 8m faderbank (16hp) into a Pod40X…seems like the perfect companion for some manual control!

edit: math fail, leaving this up to shame myself

34 + 16 = 50… : :open_mouth:

You might need to either break mathematics or get a bigger case
