can anyone confirm that mannequins’ 3 sisters will fit in a 4ms pod?
i see 32mm usable depth on the 4ms site, and 30mm module depth on modulargrid.

I thought it was a psychedelic fire watch!

Team’s in the playoffs eh?

cooool thanks for confirming

I didn’t find this discussed in the thread: are the Intellijel 7U 104hp cases overhead bin compatible? They measure at just under 55cm long which seems to be right at the limit of many airlines. Curious if people have had positive or negative experiences trying to bring it onboard.

i’ve flown a few times with that case with zero issues. even at security, surprisingly! always been able to fit it in an overhead bin.

my make noise / elite 7u case has also been a breeze as a carry-on & fits in an overhead, though slightly bulkier than the intellijel.

What do you guys think of these? They look very Doepfer LC6, but bigger and cheaper!

The price is super reasonable. Makes attempting to DIY a case a lot less attractive unless you’re already a skilled woodworker. Might want to choose a different power solution if you intend on having a lot of digital modules, though.

Hi there,
I’m about to get the 4ms 48X pod and I was wondering if I can use the same power brick I’m using for my Doepfer a-100 diy kit
see picture attached

Thanks

Very nice - I made something vry similar, although not got round to fitting clips and making the two halves! join into a case. I found working with the tolex not too bad in the end. Corners are just joined by eye and a careful scalpel cut. The glue is so strong they are not going to peel.

I like the idea of your removable threaded legs - very neat!

best to reach out to 4ms directly (they are very fast to respond) – but Looks like NO, this is a AC brick, pods need a DC brick.

Looks ace! Love that power outlet :zap:

Danijel replied to a similar question I posted on FB, and he included a picture of the 7U/104hp case in the padded gig bag in an overhead bin. I’m sold!

Agreed. Had these been available when I started, I would not have gone through the trouble of building my own. This is pretty much what I spent + several hours of inexperienced wood-worker’s frustration to get my ugly-ass rig put together (but hey at least it works ). Really glad to see Control offering these now!

This weekend I got hoodwinked into getting a different case than my rackbrute, which was unplanned but awesome.

But I really love how the rackbrute sits and that I can run cables and what not underneath. I have an organelle, beatstepro and 0 coast that all need to go on that desk so I definitely can’t have both racks.

I’ve been looking at guitar and amp stands as an option but would love some expert input on stands from you folk.

I’m using the K&M Heli 2 black Acoustic for both my cases. Sturdy, lightweight, adjustable width, foldable and cheap.

nice. and they come in different colors! I kinda dig that red. I am curious if anyone has tried the 3dwaves one. I like how they look, but am curious if they really are all that sturdy.

Oh and weight wise: my two cases are an Intellijel 7U 104hp and a Grau 7U 65 hp, both full.

How do you like the Intellijel? Debating downsizing to one of those so I have no more excuses about having too much gear to go play out.
