if you’re going DIY you could probably connect a pair of AI006 's outputs and inputs to those… that’s how the 1U intellijel stuff works right? Seems like a relatively simple possible solution to me…

Adding another I just thought of – quadraphonic sound.

Edit: Just peaked around the internet, there really aren’t that many quadraphonic mixers in eurorack out there, huh?

Hi All! I’m curious if anyone here is using any of the cases from https://www.blackholecases.com/? Really interested in getting the sub-six for a small system, but can’t find the interior dimensions anywhere. Does anyone that has one have any trouble with it being too shallow?

Plenty deep as far as I’m concerned. I had to be mindful of how I set up busboards to fit my Spock in there, but at 68 mm, that module is absurdly deep compared to modern module designs generally. But yeah, I can promise you that it’s at least THAT deep

Amazing. That should be plenty. Thank you!

Does anyone have a recommendation for a palette case stand that would put the system at a 45 degree angle or so?

I don’t own one, but the (dinky) Loci stand could be a contender? Also quite trivial to diy a similar design if yoy have access to a laser cutter / maker space.

I’m going to try an aluminum laptop stand, which will give me a little space underneath to stash some pedals.

Guitar stands (or mandolin stands for a smaller version) are often pretty good for modular cases.

I bought one of these generic-ish laptop stands and removed the top cross-strut so the arms that support the laptop lean forward and rest on the desktop.

[edit] Actually - looking at the pictures, I see now I just dispensed with the feet entirely!

Laptop stands are a great option and (edited post)

The feet can unbolt and maybe add as cross struts:

Is anyone elses Make Noise 7u case not particularly square? Just received mine today and it’s got a bit of a wobble corner to corner when sitting on my desk. Was thinking of loosening the rail screws slightly and seeing if I can push it a little more square.

Found one of these in a closet that’s been just sitting for years! I put some electrical tape where the ends sit on the table to prevent scratching but it works great!

Hi, I’ve been shuffling cases and such for the past 2+ years, and I’m missing my first case, the Synthrotek 7U 104hp…for the main reason I really like having access to PulpLogic’s extensive 1U utility tiles!

I would love to have that possibility again, without supporting Synthrotek, and preferably in a slimmer form factor.

Does anyone know if that exists?
Thanks!

@pulplogic, any recommendations?

I know it’s not for everyone but I love seeing DIY cases. If that’s not your thing there are a lot of talented people around here to commission a build. I love seeing all the creative cases people build or modify existing cases to make their instrument uniquely their own. Used Halliburtons are pretty inexpensive and not that hard to convert. If you want a 7U Pelican style or Halliburton I could make a few.

Clank make 7U cases and also with PL 1U rows. Just contact them with a custom request. Really nice cases too!

I’m looking for something like this to hold my 7u case on the top, cables etc below…

Unfortunetly this one (Ikea Nissafors) is about 10cm too short in both directions for my 7u case. Does anyone have any suggestions? The only other options I’ve found are stainless steel kitchen trolleys, which I guess would do the job but are typically a bit too big and also don’t look that great.

am I correct assuming that the I/O jacks that are built into Intellijel 7U case are just jacks, so I could have two Stereo Line Out tiles connected to them and use all 4 jacks as outputs?

Yeah. They are.
I have Pedal I/O and Stereo Outs on one of mine. I should probably label them.
