Excited to share my new ambient EP “The Start of Something New” released yesterday via Obseqvivm Records.

This EP pretty much makes use of everything in my recent creative toolset all wrapped together into 4 tracks. There’s modular, Juno 60, cassette tape loops, w/ loops, Max for Live processing and control generation, and (one of my personal favorites) a synthetic nature soundscape generated by Csound.

Most of the EP was composed earlier this year, but the first minute or so of the first track dates back to Christmas 2017, and the final track Cove grew out of a Cycles/Just Type patch I used for my first solo modular performances in fall 2017.

I’ve got some extra codes for a free download, so feel free to use some of these.
