It’s not in stock anywhere. Massive demand, slow supply due to the state of the world. If you want one, pay attention and be ready to pounce. Or pre-order with a store you trust.

Mine arrived today, but will probably be a few days before I get to explore it. Looking forward to exploring it!

I just got one this afternoon and have been messing with it. I’ve noticed some faint, intermittent clicking sound with the SD Multisample algo. I tried both the Soft Pianos and I hear it on both. Anybody else notice this?

UPDATE: Firmware 1.3 has solved this problem.

I found the sustain mode options and envelope setting could sometimes make that happen so worth playing with to rule out first. It can get odd with too wide a pitch range input and changing octaves is glitchy/artefacty which makes sense but is frustrating.

Both Signal Sounds and Elevator Sound in the UK have stock at the moment in case anyone still can’t get one.

You can certainly set this up, and I have with a multisampled piano, one for each note. You have to add a sample player for each voice, I have only done up to four voices as that is my midi to CV limit. I believe someone has implemented round robin as well so you could use a single pitch and gate to trigger multiple voices.

It takes some CPU but for four voices you still have a little headroom for other things. It would most likely take more effort, compared to the disting, to get the patch going initially, but you can make a quicksave or custom unit and get it back.

Regarding multisampling piano in the ER301 here is a good thread

Just made my first couple of multi-samples using the auto-sampler algorithm and it is super easy; such a great idea! I’m going to start making some OPZ instruments.

Just got my pair today!
Thinking about putting both directly in the monome case!
Plenty ideas on this post, probably start by making that stereo to i2c cable…

Mine arrived this morning. Excited to put it through its paces!

speaking of i2c, i’ve been working with os on teletype integration. will post the betas tonight once i have the time to document. here is what will be possible:

  • presets - load, save, get current preset, reset
  • algorithms - select, get selected (single algos only for now)
  • parameters - set, get current values, get min/max
  • wav recorder - control playback and recording
  • augustus loop - set pitch and send clock
  • midi - send various midi messages (requires midi breakout)
  • select bus - send various select bus messages
  • send notes to SD Multisample and SD Triggers

(i’ve been posting some examples on my insta)

Does the ex follow the same order of the Txb?
Ex goes GND - SCL -SDA
Txb goes GND (Tip of stereo jack) - ? ?

check this thread (scroll down to “what is TXb” section): A user's guide to i2c

Got it, yes its the same order, thanks @scanner_darkly !
