Hey there, I’m trying to optimize the setup between my Eurorack, Elektron Digitakt, and Ableton Live.

I was thinking of getting an ES-8 audio interface which would provide 4 Eurorack audio inputs to my DAW. The Digitakt could use the USB and OverBridge to get it’s audio signals into the DAW (via aggregate device Digitakt+ES-8). From there I would have 8 outputs, two of which I’d use to connect to my studio monitors and 6 others for additional use.

Does this seem like a reasonable solution? What expander modules would be useful here?

The ES-8 outputs are unbalanced, so you’ll want to ensure you are free of ground loop issues if you intend to drive monitors with them.
