Been lusting after vintage polyphonic Oberheims for decades, for pad sounds, but they are expensive, as is the new OB-6. Was almost about to buy U-he Diva when this crossed my event horizon recently, a freeware soft synth based on the OBX/OBXA/OB-8. And the lush pads are just spilling out of this thing!

Reviving this thread to give a major shout out to Felt Instrument’s Wolno (piano sampled to tape played back half speed) and Valhalla DSPs Supermassive (reverb/delay goodness) — I believe these have been mentioned elsewhere but for completeness thought they should be here too
