Installed last night and got up and running right away :sparkles:

I have to say the extra effort you have put into making this a standalone .vst was well worth it. It makes it seem like a ‘complete’ instrument (plus I find Kontakt a bit clunky and counter-intuitive).

The sounds are beautiful (I love the pad and tremolo sounds!), the interface is clear and to the point (while still being aesthetically pleasing… I sense a bit of a Bauhaus influence?).

I can’t wait to see what you come up with in the future :+1:

p.s. I did notice a little glitch (running VST, Mac, Ableton Live 10); when first initialised the default patch had some nasty transient/glitch type audible noises. Selecting a different patch instantly solved this (must be something to do with how the plugin initializes).

i had a similar problem and it took several rounds of uninstalling/installing, loading different patches, changing buffer size in ableton, etc. but eventually it started working without issue.

this is a really beautiful instrument and fills a void that i’ve had within my collection of sample libraries; it’s surprisingly hard to find quiet piano libraries! i’ve been having so much fun looping little piano passages with cranes on my norns. thanks for putting this together and sharing it publicly. i’m excited to see what you do in the future!

Purchased, downloaded and installed without issue. This is so beautiful and expressive. Can’t wait to compose something today. I sincerely hope that this project funds others, as you’re clearly operating from a place of artistic and technical integrity. Bravo!

Edit: Got to spend some time writing today. Lekko Featured heavily at the beginning and end of this piece:

Hi guys! Sorry for being silent for the past few days - I’m currently in a remote village somewhere in the eastern Poland, having some family time  I’ve just released the 1.2.2 update which fixes some pops and clicks issues so if you’ve experienced that - grab it and it should solve the problem.

Your response is truly humbling, seriously, thanks so much for all the love you’ve shared! This makes me believe that this road is something really worth pursuing. It’s something I’ve been secretly dreaming of for quite some time now and your feedback gives me a lot of courage to push this thing further!

@Ithacus - yes, Bauhaus is a huge inspiration, along with some abstract art, photography and architecture. It’s the 100th anniversary this year, which I wasn’t aware of when I rediscovered this art school a few months back. Now it’s everywhere again and I’m super-happy to see it, there’s still so much to discover and every article seems to bring something new on the subject

@bunkbeds - I was hoping someone would use it with norns! I always wanted to have it myself but I guess this is one of the purchases that has to wait a bit. The libraries are a sort of an excuse for me to get the gear that I’ve always wanted to have so the modular rig is growing slowly

@mattlowery - a beautiful track, thanks so much for sharing!

I installed the latest version last night and got the glitches that other folks have reported. Clicking the safe button got it fixed right away.

It is strange that it glitches like that, but great that the fix is so simple…

Yeah, it’s a trade-off of the sample streaming optimization. It starts to stutter only on certain configurations and somehow I missed it during beta…

Is it possible that there are mapping issues ? On the quarter speed sustain, D2 is fine but then is repeated so D2 = D#2 and E2 = D#2 (which means there’s no E2).

I’ll check, thanks for reporting!

Lekko 1.2.3 is out and the mapping issue should be fixed now  Thanks again for reporting!

I deleted the old one and downloaded it, but it’s still showing as 1.2.2.

I’m excited to try this and the other free instrument you offer  right up my alley

Sorry for the dopey question. edit : I think I got it

Thank you so much for taking the time to create this! Just ordered it there.

Had been on the lookout for VST like this for a while so we could perform a piano based project live. Every other one I tried was too perfect and clean sounding. This one has the warmth and character we need, without having to haul an actual upright piano around.

Here’s a link to the project in case you might be interested. The majority of it is Piano, violin and a whole load of Ciat Lonbarde goodness!

Is anyone aware of a strings (cello, violin, etc) plugin that has the same kind of wonderful character as Lekko?

If not, consider this an official request!

Just curious if Wolno has been updated recently?

@Papercutnoise - beautiful textures, thanks so much for sharing! There’s something very nice about the Ciat glitchy, digital sound. I’m glad you enjoy Lekko!

@mattlowery - it’s actually planned to be recorded in Q1 of 2020!

@eblomquist - no changes to Wolno recently. I’ll update both plugins soon to work with Mac Catalina, just waiting for Apple’s approval.

@mattlowery Nice one! Is Lekko being Morphagened here?

@Papercutnoise This is cool. Plumbutter and Lekko fit well together.
