Alright, here we go again. This time it’s slightly different. Usually my recordings are basically the things that appear in my DAW after an evening and randomy patching and playing.
For this release the setting was a little different, since the release was planned to be published by Peak tapes, who explore a bigfoot based theme with their releases.
So means, that i decided to publish this under a different name to reflect different setting, but also soundwise.
Usually i’m learning more dissonant tones – the general idea is something of an acid trip gone bad. This time, i tried a more gentle, new age inspired sound cosmos.
This means a lot more typical sequenced sounds – including “rhythmical” stuff. A lot of tracks feature the Digitone sequences or loops played and processed through the combination of Morphagene, QPAS and Mimeophone – especially the first tracks features this combo quite prominently. A lot of the rhythms you hear, come for tiny bits of sounds being sequenced by the Octatrack.
Even tracks that were somewhat polished before talking to Peak about a release, got edited and reworked to fit the desired theme more.
