I’m a little surprised that this hasn’t been discussed yet — a forthcoming tabletop synth from Gamechanger Audio (likely familiar to most here as the Erika Synths collaborators on Plasma Drive).

Its basic concept — generate waveforms from 8 precisely controlled motors — is super unique and, to me, very inspiring. I’ve never seen anything remotely like it in a commercial product. If the mechanical aspect is as fast and reliable long-term as they claim, I think this could be a successful niche product (especially for those like myself who are inclined toward harsh, aggressive, industrial sounds).

They’re currently running an IndieGogo campaign which I am doing my level best to ignore… :money_with_wings:

i’ve never used any of their products but they are all super fascinating for various reasons. undeniably creative thought going on in that company.
