The “meaningless internet” feeling is much stronger outside of Lines. Certainly on many days I reflect on the hours I’ve spent simply scrolling through “content”.

I’m fairly new here but I’ve seen the impact you’ve had. Many thanks for that and I fully support your disconnect.

This is a fantastic community by all accounts but everyone has a limit and setting boundaries is so important esp in world made up of ersatz connectivity.

Thank you for everything, your contributions and occasional tough love will be sorely missed, but I understand the decision and I stand by it.

Thanks for checking out my band’s album last year - seeing you pop up on our bandcamp supporters really lifted my spirits and helped for me to feel justified for all the time and energy we poured into it.
