So I just got the Ext 5V adaptor to go between my eurorack modular and my 128 monome and I accidentally plugged a power supply of 12V into the Ext5V adaptor before realizing and now the monomer doesn’t power up/light up when I plug it in (either directly into my computer or the White Whale module) - looks dead to me :frowning:

So annoyed - normally meticulous at such things. Such an idiot.

Any suggestions?

it’ll likely need some chips replaced if it’s not powering up. e-mail info@monome.org

we designed the Switch to take wide range of inputs plus have protection, but the ext5v has to be exact.
