My crow sits on the ii cable in between the Teletype and Just Friends, if that determines whether I have active pullups

Yes, I have noticed in my intellijel 7u that the spacing is just slightly off. I have also noticed this with my three sisters…

It wont “hurt”, either way. Try it without first, If it doesn’t work add the pullup line

yeah, same issue (Intellijel 4U). can only put one screw in. I’m fine with it but might be good to know for future batches @tehn

I was able to get it in an intellijel palette, but I had to put one screw in loosely so I could push crow down before inserting the other screw. After that I was able to tighten both.

Is there an ER-301 user here (with the more recent CPU board & I2C headers), whose Crow has arrived & would be willing to test the I2C support? Send me a DM & I’ll get you the binary!

I had a bit of trouble. Ended up getting both screws in by loosening all the other modules on the rails so they were free to adjust to the crow’s hole spacing.

same here. I have the same problem with w/ …

Works a treat! Thanks!

Of course! I am getting quite excited for crow listening to everyones first experimentations with it. Finally have a Just Friends en-route, and I’ve heard rumors that I may be gifted crow for my birthday… so I guess I’ll have to be patient.

Got my Crow and messed around with the studies today - love being free of midi and all its “notes” type assumptions already.

One suggestion given Crow’s affinity for i2c, and how it comes up as a selling point, would be to include a pre-made 3-pin jumper cable in the box so folks can just plug into say a Just Friends or Ansible right out of the box.

(I had bought some crappy elegoo jumpers on Amazon earlier and I can see now I’ll need to DIY a better solution - also they’re really short)

First has been a blast so far! Here a low voice (Tides with DPLPG) and high voice (Mangrove) are being triggered by my guitar through Ears.

Was able to pick my Crow up today. Very fun device. I was able to get my Norns script, Circles, talking to crow without much trouble. Hoping to finish this up this weekend and get an update out. Thanks to everyone involved!

Have got crow M4L working and it’s great. Here’s Numerology VST in Live 10 driving crow and Just Friends into W/:slight_smile:

I modified the Norns Earthsea script to send CV to Plaits et al. via Crow, and to do some ultra-simple looping via Softcut. I’ve been working with more complex randomized Softcut arrangements too, which is absolutely magical, but I don’t think much of that made it into this recording. Really enjoying all the different dimensions of non-synced repetition (note sequences from Earthsea, timbre modulation within Eurorack, long delay via Softcut).

Are there druid studies yet, or any studies/tutorials starting from basics? Is someone able to list all the current instructional documents? I’m all over the place at the Crow docs page, Crow docs reference page, various github readmes, and still very possible I’m missing some essential stuff. (Not complaining to be clear, just want to make sure I read all things I need to and minimize treasure hunts)

Don’t know where to ask this as it’s between Norns and Crow but will Norns support asl natively?

I probably haven’t thought it through entirely as I know asl is for arbitrary cv and Norns can’t produce that. But it might be useful to be able to create the same shapes on Norns? What do you think?
