Check to see if your rails are tilted; a lot of modules these days have extra-large holes that tolerate slightly out-of-alignment rails.

Mounted against a w/, the holes are not aligned.

That’s not it, several of us have had issues and with different cases. To clarify, this is an issue with the vertical distance, not an issue with the 2 rails having holes that line up horizontally.

Same here. I tried to loosen the rails so they could have a bit more freedom to accept modules, but no luck in the Intellijel Performance case.

i’m sorry to hear about the mounting trouble. we’d tested on numerous cases and believed the measurements on the plans were right— the shop could’ve messed it up (ie, hole too small)— i’ll check the designs again.

Just thought I’d put this out here too:

Crow needs washers to fit within my 4ms Pod 60 (powered version)

Have setup the pod to include the following modules:

ALM Busy Circuits Squid Salmple, 2HP and Pamela’s new workout and gonna add a W/.

This sits next to norns and is a pretty competent lil setup

Can upload a pic later of how crow sits

How did you get a crow in a pod 60? seems like it would stick up at least 1/2". Would love to see a pic of how you did it, sounds like a fun little rack!

Also interested in seeing the pic

Just chiming in to say that my holes (second batch) were a much further distance apart vertically than all other modules.

Its not working guys so plan b will need thinking about

Its not working taylor, much to my dismay

I wish we could add some kind of layer/hinge to elevate the pods too

I know @maf puts monome modules in his pod, maybe he can chime in on how he gets them attached?

I’ve seen images of his pod too. I think he uses standoffs to give the module the necessary elevation.

cool that would be helpful

I can always add to my expert sleepers rack

The squid is excellent with 16n fader too and norns

Ironic in a studio crammed with synths i am using 3 foot of space and obsessed with micro machines hehe

checked the file and indeed it is barely off. but in euro a fraction of a mm matters. sadly all of the cases we tested before production didn’t raise the issue.

I am not sure when/if batch 2 of crow will get made, but I will certainly correct the issue and produce extra plates for those people affected. I’ll start looking into the rerun

in the meantime, a tiny circular file can remove a tiny amount off the metal. the smallest removal is required.

I had the issue on my Pittsburgh Modular EP-96, which is weird because I played 3 card monty with W/, Crow and Txb (upside down) and it finally fit.

I can’t imagine any scenario when a W/ or Crow fits in a Pod 60 (Mine hung out of my pod 60 for a few days before I made the transfer), but I’d be really interested to see how someone pulled it off.

If someone has seen it work, my theory is that it was a Pod 48x and it just looked like a Pod 60

I’ve got mine in a Pod48X and the fit is tightest behind w/, but it’s not too pinched.

Mine fought me going in but I eventually got the better of it!

crow sending cv to kaivo, clocking marbles, sending lfo to three sister and playing jf polyphonically. all at the same time.

This is great! Do you mind breaking down what is happening in as much detail as you can stand to provide?

The description is fascinating but I would love to understand it better…

Thanks!
