If by kazoo, you mean a relatively inexpensive device that allows for many forms of musical expression, you’re correct.

If you actually meant the instrument, ‘kazoo’, well… Nope, but that would be a really fun challenge!

Oy. “Things look bad for our heroes…” Major changes to family and career since my optimistic post of 5/3 have made time and inspiration even more precious than I anticipated. I was able to resolve the technical issues (mostly; well enough, anyway) and now find myself with only a handful of days for the music. I know these things are non-linear, however, and so hold out hope.

Deadline is midnight local time on the 21st or the actual hour of the solstice (i.e., ~6am EDT)? It could come down to that.

Submitted…pretty much what I said I would do.

One night I just liked how it sounded on the headphones and said that’s it. Too long cooking in protools and it slips away…becomes mud, mulch. Fresh ears are the best tools we have.

Just submitted as well. After beating my head against a compositional wall for the last two weeks, I ended up going back to a single-take recording as well. A little bit of extra processing/recording in the DAW, but I tried keeping it simple in order to, you know…finish the dang thing :slight_smile:

16 tracks, have them sorted in a potential order. Giving it a listen to see if I’ve got the sequence right. It’s so good, I can’t wait for you to hear it.
