Most of what I do is performed by my machinery. In another life, I was a viola performance major. Thirty-five years later, I hope to get my chops back enough that I can stand to listen to recordings of myself, but I’m not there yet. This piece was performed more with knobs and buttons than bows and strings, but it emerged, surprisingly, essentially fully formed – very different from what I’m used to, but welcome!
