You made it look easy and fun - not even the smallest of inklings of nerves was in evidence at any point of the performance. Well done to you both.

I saw you last year in Portland and it was a blast. I love what you do with the Minitaur - would love to grab a beer and/or see you again

Would love to get on the list for the LA show, thanks!

3 years ago today since I first heard of Sylvan Esso. That was a good day! Sorry I won’t catch you this time around.

A big thank you to our kind lines colleague whose graciousness made it possible for me to attend last night’s show. I’m not an accomplished reviewer, but I will say that it was a Very Large Crowd and it was Very Well Received and Oh So Very Very Loud. The 930 Club is a great venue, any chance you have to see a show there, take it.

One of my Life Goals in taking up music again is to be able to invite folks to concerts, the great karmic wheel turns for all of us.

Sung at such decibels, that all you were was sound?

Let’s just say I became aware of the orientation of my internal organs as they resonated and vibrated against each other. The drops were droptastic.

I still haven’t been either. Let me know if you want a tag along!

I saw the Philly show at Union Transfer, it was excellent!

Also, merch from the band website came with Band-Aids. I initially had my doubts, but after accidentally running glass through the garbage disposal and trying to clean it up with my bare hands, I can assert that these are good, professional-grade Band-Aids. Thanks, Sylvan Esso!

PS. if you’re ever looking for a real gnarly snare sound, glass in the garbage disposal is a good thing to sample.
