i had this idea for a while, not sure how feasible it would be - cheap enclosures for eurorack modules that would turn them into modular lego blocks, with easily pluggable power connectors. you would need a special case, of course. kinda like what Kilpatrick did with his 4U modular format: http://www.kilpatrickaudio.com/?p=kformat

you’d have to support all the possible sizes though…

I still really like kformat. Andrew is an underappreciated genius. It appears eurorack is “winning” alas.
