Feeling withdrawal from RIF on Android, so I’ve been testing out a few other alternatives: Connect for Lemmy, 3 Cheers for Tildes.
Neither one of those are really cutting it for me, and I’m generally more interested in the content on lines. Does anyone know if there’s a dedicated lines app?
I’m not an Android user, but the mobile website for Lines works great for me. Does it not on Android?
As far as I know, lines uses the Discourse forum software.
There are official apps for browsing Discourse sites, but as far as I can tell they’re just wrappers around the mobile web view you’d get by browsing to lines on your phone.
I also see something like GitHub - lexiconhq/lexicon: Built with Expo, React Native, and GraphQL, Lexicon is a pre-built mobile discussions app that you can customize for your users. which would in theory allow someone to create an app specifically designed to browse lines, but IMO the return on investment would be low.

Android user: I made an icon (“Add to Home screen” on standard mobile Chrome browser), you can do that for all webapps. This one also made some icon shortcuts for inbox etc. I rejected notifications. Works great.
This place indeed runs Discourse software.
PS. nobody yet made norns app/mod to interact with ////////ines wink wink. Would be a great nature timer.
