I thought I had a great idea and attempted to pass electribe through zoia but I just couldn’t get anything I liked. Later I tried granchild on some recorded drones from dronecaster but I still wasn’t happy.
Finally, here at the end of day 15 lithop by @midworld came to the rescue! All I need for my day to be perfect was a loop of I don’t know what and a generous portion of fuzz!
jam 15 was weird. i couldn’t be bothered to set up headphones/monitoring, so we had no idea what it was sounding like until it was over. more improv with @TotalEnergy
RRRAAA!!! Here’s a beat for big monsters. This morning I realized I could use an old metronome as a clock source for the po-400’s metronome, which would let its sequencer run a little slower and allow me to get something more deliberate out of it. I made this bassline and added a harmony on octave + a fifth above using Soundtoys’ Little AlterBoy with mapped a slight LFO to the “formant” knob. Now go stomp the city!
For day 16 I’ve played my subharmonicon into pedalboard by @21echoes. It has a granular mode based on clouds by mutable instruments which I’m relying on a lot here for texture.
Yeaaasssss keep going people! We are halfway through and super interesting and strange jams above and on mainstream social media. I think i missed just one so far, this is fuuuuun PLUR
I always color-coordinate my gear to the weather and where I live the grey OP-Z is often the choice
Day 16. Missed out yesterday as well because I’m a lazy person. Today I did a small bit with my baritone triggering Nebulae and Just Friends via Teletype.
Day 16. I found a sweet spot with my Tetragrid that Swoop drum-rolled happily from and made Just Friends chirp wildly. I kind of like the gritty played inside a tin can type sound of a band never quite agreeing with itself.
For day 17 I felt inspired to take everybody’s favourite first script awake by @tehn and attempt to make it a bit more shoegaze. There’s also a dronecaster drone in the background for parts of it.
