Could any who’s been using this give some clock clarification – does it not sync at all, or does it sync like normal, but if you use clock divisions, they will drift?

no sync at all, at least as far as i could gather using walk as a clock source

Neither nor, respectively both.

While it mirrors the incoming clock at the clock output it does not sync at all. It’s a bit confusing at first when you don’t know what’s going on. :grinning:

there is a chance that a completed kria is one of the ansible grid apps… and a maxmsp port of kria is on my list…

+10 for external clock. sorry to keep bumping. if this isn’t a possibility, just let us down gently!

awesome rumor @tehn – now we can start asking for arc/ansible videos every other day instead of clock support! haha

Kria became my favorite seq so far… Super inspiring, need to upload a video of my Kria - Easel combo

Given that White Whale is out of stock, I’m pretty stoked to hear both of these things.

So there won’t be a clock input on the actual Kria while it is on the WW?

Who said that? From Then words I understood that Kria is still under development. Tehn should be super busy between Ansible and a whole lot other things, so I guess It’ll take a while, but for what I understood once the firmware is finished it’ll be ported to Max and maybe to Ansible. Or maybe that’s what I want to understand…

I might have come to that conclusion as he said something about ansible and MaxMSP but did not refer to the actual WW implementation.

I hope I do not come across overly demanding or rude. It’s just that I want to know what to realistically expect.

I know that a clock sync implementation is tricky and completely different to just shifting a step sequencer to the next step. Especially when yo have these complex division and multiplication features Kria has. You would probably need a reset opportunity too to get it always back in line, but reset to where when you have these complex divisions going?
I don’t know if it would be better to have it generally synced but every now and then a single step is out of line or maybe a sync now command pressed on the grid or coming from TT to let it pick up the tempo and then run. This could make it more convenient to record phrases in a given tempo and layer them.

behold, gifts. ext sync for ww kria

This is for White Whale, correct? If so… an early Festivus!

Disregard. I see the separate thread. Cool!

thank you so much for taking the time out to satisfy the vocal few of us who asked for this.

Amen, Nick.

Thanks indeed Brian!!

Brian you rule thank you

Finally getting around to Kria again - was exploring Orca in the meantime. Thanks again for doing this for us!

so I’m playing with Kria again, I only see one slider here? or 3 for the trig/acc/oct, what happened to the other one?

I think clock multiplying had to be removed to get a stable clock behaviour. So there is only the division slider left now.
