Wow this is really cool. I’ve left eurorack but this might be enough to bring me back! I’ve been looking for a sequencer that mimic’s stretta’s excellent monosequencer in max for live and this seems to do a lot of the same stuff. One of the big things that I love about monosequencer is the ability to reset the pattern after 2 or 4 bars. Is this possible with kria?

Great Thanks! I’m actually fine with mousing around in mono sequencer. But having independent lengths in sequencer lanes is pretty awesome for hardware.

I’m surprised that more hardware sequencers that can do user defined numbers of steps don’t have an auto reset function. Keeps things sounding interesting but still looping consistently.

any eta on clock-in support?

Looks so dope! Can’t wait for max version!

Any chance of the ability to customise the multiply/divide options? I’m finding the max multiple still a bit fast. I could slow the clock down and work from there, but then if I’m using the WW as master clock for the rest of the system I find I’m having to complicate the rest of the patch.

this looks and sounds amazing. in simple terms how is it different than the default WW app?

any updates on this?

Updates on how it’s different? I would have thought that’s reasonable evident from the videos?

In short, the default WW is more or less a traditional step sequencer, 4 gates, 2 CV, where the “head” has a single position across all 4 gates, 2CV.

With Kria, everything moves at an independent rate, triggers, accents, octave shift, choice of note, duration of gates, scale… So starting from a single point in time, everything can move and out of phase, if the rates across each aspect are set differently.

hey thanks for the description. it was hard to sort out just watching the video, because for me the angle and stuff made it unclear which buttons he was pressing and etc…

so the kria is a bit like loops of different lengths

tutorial vid is in this thread:

Any info on external clocking ? Holding off till then.

it’s coming, but with the upcoming new stuff it’s a bit lower on the priority list.

New stuff is good stuff!

AFAIK, externally clocking Kria with Ansible is a thing, but has there been an update for externally clocking with white whale? Just checking back on this to make sure I haven’t missed something!

i should be able to get to this in the next couple weeks.

Amazing. Looking forward to this immensely!

@tehn, COMPLETELY understand that this year has been SO busy for y’all and i’m tryin to learn max as quickly and deeply as i can so i can be participative in this ask (am finding it to be slower and more complex than i anticipated, but one day i’ll pull my dev weight): any updates for the aforementioned max version? finding plenty of excellent use for the m4l ported meadowphysics and terms suite with reaktor blocks, but am itching for new monome MIDI tools and this is such a beautiful app.
