Phinery from Denmark will release a few sounds of mine in the near future. The project is called “Out Of The Picture” and I’m happy that those tracks found a place to stay  https://soundcloud.com/birdy-earns/innerimage-out-of-the-picture-soon-out-via-phinery

Not really new music, but newly available… This is a “remaster” of an album I did back in 1999/2000 that was briefly released on a tiny local label. One of my 2017 goals is to get the archive of my music online again, so as part of that project this is the latest addition.

The physical sounds of a rickety cassette player, run through the mighty Borderlands Granular. Recorded live, improvised, one take. Headphones recommended. I worked hard to let the sounds breathe while keeping forward momentum going as the different parts revealed themselves. Good scritchy-burbly fun. For me, at least.

Here’s part II of the FF7 drone/vaporscape project. I don’t know what to call it. Plunderphonics? It’s helpful when sleeping for me though.

Over the past month I’ve been making videos on modular synthesis – some more educational and some more artistic – and been having lots of fun with it. Excited to experiment with new video ideas and work towards building a performance set!

@whitenoises I just watched the chord/clouds/batumi video, and I love it!

The use of the “b-roll” of the birds is a really cool way to incorporate the field-recording component of the final audio with another medium.

I’m excited to check out the rest of these videos and see what else you come up with!

Great videos, music and imagery wise! I’ve bookmarked the intro video to pass on to curious friends
